Kneeling Medicine Ball Exercises

Mike Boyle covers medicine ball exercises in the kneeling position as a progression to the medicine ball lunge.

Medicine Ball Lunging Chest Throw

The medicine ball lunging chest throw is a total body exercise.

Medicine Ball Overhead Progressions

Overhead medicine ball progressions include the kneeling overhead stability throw, standing overhead throw, staggered overhead throw and the overhead throw with step.

Medicine Ball Overhead Slam

1. Stand with your knees slightly bent and hold a medicine ball overhead, with your arms extended.

2. Bend forward at the waist and use your core muscles to slam the ball against the floor about a foot in front of you. Let your arms follow through so you don't fall forward. Retrieve the ball and repeat.
