Lebert Fitness: Kneeling Tricep Extension with Equalizers

In this inaugural episode I cover the Kneeling Tricep Extension. It’s one of my favorite Lebert EQualizer (EQ) exercises and it's so effective.

Key Takeaways:

1. Do not bring head under the bar- bring forehead to foam pad.
2. Keep weight forward.

The Wind Up

From kneeling position (not on kneecaps but on quads) bring hips down, engage core and turn lats ON! Slowly lower forehead to foam pad and press up keeping weight forward.

Levelling Up

The regression for this exercise is to break or hinge at the hips allowing for more weight on the knees and less on the core. You are still getting a good range of motion and stretch in the triceps. Build up to getting the hips forward. The progressions are a plenty! In the video we covered: EQ tricep extension right into push-ups, EQ tricep extension right into jump lunges/dips, EQ full bodyweight tricep extention, EQ jump switch tricep extension.

Tip:

TIP the EQ forward! This keeps the set going without a break and tension on the working muscles (even at the top of the motion).

Hope you enjoyed! Now go hammer those triceps!
