The Grid Foam Roller
Details
The Grid Foam Roller features 'green' technology with a revolutionary design. The roller is great for self-massage and working the core.
The Grid Foam Roller has varying density patterns to mirror the feeling of an actual massage: flat and wide (palm), firm and rigid tubular (fingers) and targeted high and firm (fingertips). The roller has channels to distribute blood and oxygen through the tissue as you roll.

Foam Roller of the Year, in my opinion
by Lalo Z -
I noticed the design of the roller improves the massage. The hollow tubing looks like it may break but it actually can hold up to 500lbs, I've tested it.
Excellent tool

We (trainers and clients) have been very pleased with the Grid roller. It provides more pressure than the white foam rollers and the varible surface contours are an improvement over firmer, but smooth rollers. The thin sections of surface are particularly effective at targeting a specific point of the muscle. The main drawback is the length - it is not as versatile as the 3-foot rollers, but version 2.0 is longer (which I do not have) and that may alleviate that slight inconvenience.
Great Roller

We have these rollers at my gym, and I love them. I am buying one for myself today. This roller has a great hardness and the texture differences are great for a variety. They are big enough to roll out any body part (I have a hard time getting my back good with the smaller ones), yet not too big to be cumbersome. I have a much nubbier one at home and find it too intense sometimes. The all foam rollers at the gym I find too soft. This is the only roller I see being used regularly at my gym. Great product.
Ideal Foam Roller

This roller is the best I've come across. It's comfortable, but you can get a deep massage by reducing the amount of muscle being rolled. It could use a book on how "roll out" because getting a good massage with a foam roller isn't easy. It's not cheap but it's cheaper than one massage. You'll use it for years before the foam gives in and the thing gets too hard.
Nice stiff density, great for trigger points and tight muscles.

Purchased the black one for neutral colors in training facility. This one will be a client favorite for after tough training sessions.

does a much better job loosening up sore muscles than a foam roller--get ready to feel it when stretching on this
