What is DDI? No, it is not a new orthopaedic condition. DDI simply means you or your client has difficulty doing a specific movement or exercise. Personal trainers are looking for modifications in order to work with senior clients. Age alone, however, is not inherently a basis for modification. Many clients have difficulty with certain aspects of exercise including range of motion, holding, or being able to grip a dumbbell or handle for example.
