Fitness Facility Design Case Study - Neosho County Comm. College
The challenge:
We got involved with Head Track & Field and Strength and Conditioning Coach Darrin Schmitz after they were approved for a new weight room expansion. This building was created to fit the needs of both the student and student athlete population. This was a daunting task for a small school to not only build a space in one fiscal year but to also outfit it. Since the cost was too much to absorb we came up with a three year plan breaking the equipment down into three main phases, Cardio, Strength Training and Group Circuit Training.

The Goal:
To date Neosho has outfitted a state of the art cardio area including, treadmills, elliptical, upright and recumbent bikes. We have also completed the strength training phase. Coach Schmitz decided on the Prostar line for its proven long lasting and durable characteristics. We were also able to customize the racks with flip down safety spot stands, jammer arms, band attachments and custom color paint. Phase III is just ramping up now for Neosho and will consist of a line of Keiser and Prostar selectorized equipment.
